Picture this:

Steam curling from your mug of tea. The scent of cinnamon buns baking in the early morning. Golden leaves swirling in the breeze outside your window. A crackling fireplace and a circle of women laughing, reflecting, and recharging under cozy blankets.

Welcome to Falling Inn Vermont, a deeply intentional fall retreat for kindred spirits who want to slow down, soak in the magic of autumn, and be nourished – body, mind, and soul.

Hosted by professional ontological coaches and West of Wonderland Podcast hosts Bay LeBlanc Quiney and Laura Westman, this retreat is an intentional, fantastical getaway—but it’s also a love letter to your inner world and the season that invites you to pause and root in what matters most.

What to Expect…

Falling Inn is equal parts cozy fantasy and meaningful transformation -designed for women who crave rest, beauty, and a sprinkle of magic.
Think:
✨ Alice in Wonderland whimsy
✨ Hufflepuff common room comfort
✨ Anne of Green Gables, “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers” autumn splendor
✨ A touch of grounded, golden-rays-of-autumn, herb-crafting, witchy wonder

Here’s what we’re planning:

  • Three glorious days and three cosy nights in a gorgeous, private Vermont inn—blanketed by trees in peak fall color
  • A small, curated group of 8 soul-led women
  • Morning rituals, reflective journaling, creative exploration
  • Hot drinks, indulgent seasonal food, apple picking, s’mores by the fire
  • A surprise fall movie night with cozy pajamas + face masks
  • Deep coaching workshop experiences designed specifically for the group who gathers
  • A beautifully crafted welcome gift (trust us—worth coming for alone!)
  • Sauna, hot tub, outdoorsy walks, firepit-and-gourmet-s’mores sisterhood hang outs while we soak in the spendour of Mother Nature in all her gilded autumn glory

Why this… Why now?

Fall has a way of calling us inward. But how often do you answer?

Too often, autumn speeds by in a blur of back-to-school energy, emails, Halloween costume planning and “maybe next weekend” promises. This retreat is your invitation to fall in – into rest, into intention, into connection, into YOU.

This retreat is- just like you – more than it seems. It’s a portal.

Autumn is a transition between the two extremes of summer and winter, filled with the transformational magic of transition and slowing down. Join us to get comfy, cosy and reflect on what Nature wants us to know as we wind towards the closing of the year.

The Magic Is in the Room

With over 25 years of combined coaching experience, Bay and Laura design transformational spaces that are alive with presence, imagination, and humor.

And while we’ll lovingly prepare activities, rituals, and surprises in advance, the true magic will be created together – by the souls who say yes.

Your story. Your season. Your seat at the inn.

Meet Your Retreat Hosts: Bay and Laura

Welcome! We’re Bay LeBlanc Quiney, MBA, MCC and Laura Westman, PCC — the imaginative minds behind West of Wonderland Podcast. Our podcast is a cozy corner of the internet where imagination, humor, and heartfelt truth-telling meet. Think real-life adventuring smushed together with ontological work, leadership development and a healthy dose of magic. We are not your run-of-the-mill certified leadership coaches (though we are certified – and credentialed, if you care about that!), we are devoted students of wonder and the things that make us feel like children again, inways that support our adult lives. We believe in the transformative power of stories — especially the ones we tell ourselves. We’re interested in how personal reflection and cultivating a sense of magic in our everyday lives can help us change the world.

At West of Wonderland, we explore the magical in the mundane, the ridiculous in the profound, and the courageous path of living authentically, even when it’s messy. The podcast, programs and spaces we create are all inspired by themes you’d expect to find in a fairy tale—deep, delightful, and full of mischief. We create spaces for personal development and growth that feel like gathering around a fireplace with old friends who know how to laugh and listen. Though, this retreat will be literally gathering around a fireplace with friends (old and new) who know how to laugh and listen!

Bay hails from Victoria, British Columbia, where she lives with her husband Adam and their two Boston terriers who act like they’re eight Boston terriers. Bay has a diverse professional background, which makes her both infinitely curious about the world and infinitely interesting to spend time with! She and Adam are well-known and well-respected leaders in ontological training and development, as co-leaders of The Forge and graduates of multiple ontological training spaces. Laura would say that Bay is one of the most whimsical, compassionate and brilliant people she’s ever known, with an unmatched penchant for making beautiful things.

Laura lives in the Hudson Valley of New York, where she’s often found singing to her dog, writing in her journal, or exploring her next ontological breakthrough! She’s a masterful coach and facilitator, known for her warm presence, imaginative questions, and the grounded magic she brings to every conversation. Laura is a former Program Leader at a top ontological training program and co-leads Wayfinders, and other West of Wonderland programs, alongside Bay, which makes her feel like they’re on an adventure every day. Bay would say that Laura is one of the most insightful, playful, and fiercely loving people she’s ever met, with a rare gift for helping others come home to themselves.

Together, we have 25+ years of experience in leadership training, personal development and ontology. We’ve also got a combined 60+ years of being obsessed with reading, stories, magic, fantasy, and of course – the rapturous experience of being in theme parks that take us inside our favorite stories! We’re passionate about helping people wake up to their own magic and embrace their true power.
